How does the Momentum platform work?

Momentum’s cloud-based software is powered by GPS devices connected to vehicles, equipment, tools and crews. GPS devices collect field data automatically and are always accurate. The Momentum platform translates that data into financial and operational insights.

Is there an mobile app?

Yes. You can download the mobile app for iOS (here) or Android (here).

 

How many users can I have?

Unlimited. We don’t nickel and dime you by charging by the seat. Have as many users as you want. You can control each users account permissions easily within the platform so everyone only sees what they need to see.

How much does Momentum GPS cost?

Momentum offers three unique devices. The Eagle One GPS tracker works on vehicles, trailers and heavy equipment. It’s $20/month/asset.

 

The Toolie tracks location and activity for light equipment. Pricing starts at $8/month/device and we offer a “bulk” discount. If you buy more than 15, the proce drops to $6/month/asset.

 

The CrewID tracks labor costs. Pricing starts at $10/month/device.

Does the Eagle One have a battery?

Yes. There’s an internal battery that lasts up to six months on a single charge. The Eagle One recharges when connected to a vehicle’s diagnostic port when the vehicle is running. Same if it is connected to the 12v battery in a vehicle or on a piece of equipment. If it’s wired to the brake light of a trailer, it will recharge too.

How long does the Toolie battery last?

We built the Momentum Toolie to be tough and reliable. The internal battery will last for a full 2 years! When the little guy finally dies, let us know and we will replace it for free as long as you’re a Momentum customer.

How long does the CrewID battery last?

We built the CrewID to be reliable. The internal battery will last for 6 years. After that, we’ll replace it for free as long as you are a Momentum customer.
