Trailer GPS That Gets the Job Done

Landscapers

Keep tabs on every enclosed trailer, open trailer, spray rig, and leaf box — so crews aren’t ‘borrowing’ them and expensive rigs don’t sit idle.

Construction & General Contractors

Know where the trailer hauling your skid steer or mini-ex is at all times, and which job it’s billing to.

Equipment & Trailer Rentals

See when customers pick up, move, and actually return your trailers — and charge accurately for overages or late returns.

“Momentum has saved me so much time. Customers are always promising to meet me at the yard at a certain time to turn in the trailer, but stuff happens and they run late. I can pull up Momentum and see exactly where they are and know when they’re actually going to get there. Way better than sitting in the truck waiting around.” Chuck M., Owner, CRM Rentals

How Eagle One Works on Trailers

Flexible power: Runs off a 12-volt battery or its internal battery for up to six months if a trailer is mostly stationary. When the trailer moves, it recharges automatically.

  • Fast updates: Location logged every 10 seconds with map refreshes every minute, so you can see exact trips.

  • Easy install: Simple two-wire harness to a 12-volt battery. Most customers install it themselves in minutes.

  • Built for abuse: Designed for outdoor trailers in extreme heat, cold, dust, and vibration.

  • Lifetime replacement: If a device fails or is damaged, Momentum replaces it free as long as you’re a customer.

Can I use this on unpowered or rarely moved trailers?

Yes. Eagle One was built exactly for that kind of trailer. The internal battery charges up in about 15 minutes once it’s connected to power, then it can keep reporting for up to six months even if the trailer just sits in a yard or on a job site. When the trailer moves again, Eagle One taps into that 12-volt source and tops itself off. That means you can track enclosed trailers, storage trailers, spray rigs, and equipment trailers—even if they don’t move often or don’t stay plugged into a vehicle. The rechargeable battery is better than the brick batteries that just have to be thrown away when they die.

Will the Eagle One GPS tracker drain my trailer battery?

No. Eagle One uses very little power and is smart about how it uses it. When the trailer is parked, the tracker goes into a low-power mode so it’s not pulling like a light or a pump would. When the trailer starts moving, it wakes up, reports more frequently, and recharges its internal battery off the 12-volt source. For most customers, the power draw is a non-issue—you get consistent GPS updates without worrying about dead batteries or needing to constantly disconnect the device.

Note: There is also a low battery alert that will send a text message if the battery level gets too low. No surprises with Momentum.

Is there a minimum number of trailers?

No minimums. Momentum works just as well if you’re tracking one trailer as it does if you’re tracking a thousand trailers. You can start with a single high-value trailer, prove it out, and add more as you go. The pricing is simple—per tracker, per month—so small and mid-sized fleets can scale up or down without long-term commitments or big upfront hardware costs.
