This time, Antonio is showing you how to add new users. Momentum supports different roles, each with its own set of permissions. We have “Admin,” “User,” and “View Only” roles. The goal is to give users what they need, while making sure they are blocked from changing universal settings for your GPS Telematics account. If you enter their mobile numbers, they will also be able to get text and push notifications on their phones.
On the Settings page, you can edit your name, change your password, edit your address or contact phone number. Today, we’re going to learn how to add a new user, so click the blue “ADD NEW USER” button.

Now a pop-up will open, which shows you three different account types. “Admins” can do everything. “Users” can do everything except edit billing information or add new users. “View Only” users cannot add, edit, or delete any assets. Let’s choose “Admin” and click “NEXT.”

Here you can see the overview of what this user can do, then add the first name, last name, email, and optionally, their phone number. For users who will be getting text alerts or using our mobile apps, enter their mobile numbers. When you click “ADD,” they will get an email telling them to log into their Momentum account and set a password. And that’s it! They’re a new user.
