Training #6: How to View Asset Names
Antonio Cole, Customer Success Manager at Momentum IoT, here with another installment of training.
This time, he’s showing you how to display asset names on your dashboard. This lets you quickly view and identify all your business fleet assets with one click.
This feature was recently added to the application, based on customer requests. Using a quick selection, you can gain visibility on your rolling assets without having to roll over each one of them. (See what we did there?!)
You can log in and use the Web app at https://app.momentumiot.com/. Of course, you can also use the same login credentials to view assets in our mobile apps, which you can download here for iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/momentum-iot/id1513655057, and here for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.momentumiot.momentum&hl=en_US
A – 00:00 to 00:12
Antonio Cole, Customer Success Manager at Momentum IoT, is here to give us a quick tutorial on how to display asset names. This was a feature requested by many customers.
B – 00:13 to 00:30
Let’s say you have a lot of vehicles and you have a display and you want to find one specific driver without hovering over each individual asset on your map. Here’s a quick way to do it. Let me show you something!
C – 00:31 to 00:45
Previously, you would have to hover your mouse over each asset to see its name and other info. Now, you can click the tag in the upper left hand corner of the Google Map. Now you see all the names of your assets, next to their GPS pins, along with their current speeds. And the info will stay there until you click the tag again.
D – 00:46 to 00:51
No more having to use your mouse. Thank you to customers for requesting the feature, and to our development team, for quickly rolling it out. For screenshots of this new feature, click here: https://momentumiot.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4402476691607-How-to-view-my-asset-names-on-the-map-
E – 00:52 to 01:16
